It’s quite hard not to love Judi Dench and the Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) certainly agrees as they’re set to present the actress with the coveted Irish Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the world of film and television, she will receive the award in an intimate ceremony during an “In Conversation” event at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin on July 6th.
The event will be presented by none other than Deirdre O’Kane and is supported by Screen Ireland.
The news should come as no surprise given Judie’s impressive list of performances – both on stage and in film.
