This year’s JNLR results are in, and it’s mixed news for Irish radio ratings.
Miriam O’Callaghan’s Sunday with Miriam radio show has dropped 8000 since last year, with The Marian Finucane Show losing 19000 listeners.
Joe Duffy’s LiveLine was also down 13000 but is still bringing in a huge 381,000 listeners.
Despite the significant drop in ratings for Radio One shows, RTE 2FM are celebrating huge soars as shows such as Breakfast Republic, Tracey Clifford and The Eoghan McDermott show have shown rises in listeners over the past year. The morning show is up 11,000 listeners since the last JNLR figures in April and 27,000 in total this year to 178,000
Breakfast Republic co-host Jennifer Zamparelli tweeted her delight at the rise in rating for her morning show with Keith Wash and Bernard O’Shea.
OMG @KeithWalsh2fm @boshea5 Up 11k listeners !!! Thank you all for listening to our drivel each morning. #breakfastrepublic #jnlr #2fm
