This year has already been full of lots of exciting changes for Jess Redden and her boyfriend, Rob Kearney. The couple made the move to Australia after Christmas and now Jess has revealed when she is coming home.
She is heading home in the coming months to continue with her degree in pharmacy, which she was able to postpone.
Speaking with Georgie Crawford on her podcast, The Good Glow, she said; “I’m in my final year, thank god. But I was supposed to do an eight-month placement starting in January.”
“There were a lot of balls up in the air. I didn’t want to leave mum, I didn’t want to postpone my course. But then I made the decision to come over and the college facilitated that.”
“So now I will be coming home and finishing my eight-month placement and finally qualifying,” she added.
The couple decided to make the big move together for six months as a well needed break following the death of Jess’ father last year, which also made this move a particularly tough choice.
“It wasn’t a black and white decision for me for obvious reasons and I didn’t know whether I would get here at all in the end – Feel blessed that I got to tell Dad we were going to live her for 6 months he was so happy and proud.”
