We’re two weeks away from this year’s Dancing with the Stars final, which can only mean one thing…
The Team Dance is back!
And this year it was led by none other than presenters Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy.
Yes, Jennifer and Doireann were joined by the remaining celebrities for an epic dance showdown and what a battle it was!

The final six couples were split into two teams of three for the ultimate dance-off, which each team captained by either Jennifer or Doireann.
The first team, aka the Party Animals, was made up of David Whelan and his partner Salome Chachua, Paralympian, Jason Smyth and his partner Karen Byrne and TV and radio presenter Laura Fox and her partner Denys Samson.
Dancing to the song, A Little Party Never Killed Nobody, they were captained by Jennifer and her partner Robert Rowiński.
The second team, aka the Dancing Divas, consisted of drag superstar, Blu Hydrangea and their partner Simone Arena, former jockey Davy Russell and his partner Kylee Vincent, and TV presenter Katja Mia and her partner Ervinas Merfeldas.
Dancing to the song, Electric Energy, they were captained by Doireann and Montel Hewson.

The Party Animals scored an impressive 29 points with Loraine saying: “That was incredible. Everybody was doing something all the time and Jen you fitted straight in there.”
While the Dancing Divas earned a total of 28 points.
“The sequencing was great, the timing was great and you had the fun. You couldn’t have lived more up to your name,” said Arthur.
However, it was the Party Animals who came out on top, beating the Dancing Divas by just one point.
The score from the Team Dances was then added to the celebrity’s overall individual score.
