Despite Jennifer Zamparelli and hubby Lauterio being happily married for almost ten years, the RTÉ 2fm star has recently admitted to breaking up with him over text prior to them tying the knot.
Jennifer, who shares two kids with Lau was discussing romantic break-ups on her morning radio show when she revealed how her and Lau actually broke up for a brief period of time.
“I broke up with Lau over text once,” she told her listeners.
“It obviously didn’t go right because we are married now with two kids and a dog.”
“But is there an ideal way to do?” she joked.
“I sound like my mother on today’s show but she was right when she said that time is a healer.”
Jennifer then decided to share some words of wisdom with her followers, sharing suggestions for how to get through those tough times.
“Fill that time with seeing your friends, going for massages, getting your hair done, taking yourself out for lunch, maybe book a little holiday, maybe get yourself a little Yorkshire terrier.”
“I don’t know, that’s just what I did.”
Jennifer also added that while it may be difficult to do, blocking or muting an ex may be for the best, that way you won’t feel triggered when you see them do something.
Before concluding her relationship chat, the radio presenter even suggested locations where break-ups could take place, saying: “Parks are good.”
