Jamie Dornan has been nominated for an award at the 2016 British Independent Film Awards. He is one of five nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category.
The Fall villain gained the prestigious nomination for his role as Nazi fighting underground operator Jan Kubis, in World War Two film Anthropoid, where he starred alongside fellow Irish actor Cillian Murphy.
Belfast native Jamie was in Dublin to promote Anthropoid back in September. While here he appeared on The Late Late Show with his co-star to chat about the film.
Jamie isn’t the only Irish actor to be given a nomination at the award ceremony, which is due to take place on December 4th. Michael Fassbender has been named in the Best Actor category for his film, Trespass Against Us, where he plays against Brendan Gleeson.
Congratulations to both actors, we wish them the best of luck.
