Jamie Dornan has revealed that working with Emily Blunt in Ireland was a ‘dream scenario.’
The actor spent last Autumn in Co. Mayo, working on the film adaptation of the John Patrick Shanley play, Wild Mountain Thyme.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Jamie explained: “It was incredible. It happens sometimes where you work with someone and you just know they’re going to be a friend for life.
“She’s one of those people where you’re like, ‘God, if you could do every movie with Emily Blunt, it’d be a great career.’”
He continued, “She’s such a force and a great actor above everything else.
“To be able to say John Patrick Shanley’s words, which are magical, and to do it with the likes of Emily and Christopher Walken, while shooting in Ireland — where I’m from — was just one of those dream scenarios.”
Jamie, who is originally from Co. Down, is best known for his portrayal as Christian Grey in the hugely popular Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.
The actor has been kept very busy as of late; he is set to star in the upcoming American crime drama series, Dr Death.
He is set to star as Dr Christopher Daniel Duntsch, the real-life surgeon who killed patients on his table.
