Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, stars of the Fifty Shades flicks, know each other intimately well. The pair have filmed the raciest of racy scenes together, and still remain friends at the end of it all.
Although the actors are total pro’s, they’ve admitted that filming the sex scenes is still nerve wrecking and they do get camera shy. To get over the awkwardness both Jamie and Dakota have a “pre-game ritual” that they follow before stripping off.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight 27-year-old Dakota said that she would take a “shot of whiskey and mints,” while Jamie would “do push-ups.”
However, the duo have developed a great friendship over the last three years, and Jamie admitted that this helps them get over their stage fright.
“Now it’s been three years, and Dakota and I are very close. We’ve got a great sort of love and respect for each other.
“We’re great friends and I think that makes it easier, you know? So it’s definitely more comfortable,” he said.
Fifty Shades Darker hits cinemas nationwide on February 10th.
