James and Erin McClean have been left devastated following home burglary this week.
The footie ace was in London playing a match when his house was targeted by thieves.
“When you get home from a last min defeat and your house has been robbed… thieving, smelly b*****ds,” he said on social media.
His wife Erin also opened up about the ordeal, admitting she’s very thankful that neither them nor the children were home at the time.
“Thanks for all the messages,” she began. “We weren’t there, just so sickening knowing someone could go into someone else’s house and do that without a second thought for the family.”
Claudine Keane empathised with the couple and shared some well-wishes online.
“Unfortunately it happens all too often. It’s horrible,” she said.
“We were targeted at Liverpool also while Rob was playing a match.
“It’s so upsetting and unsettling, but glad you guys are ok.”
