Jake Carter has thanked the Irish public for getting behind him on Dancing With The Stars Ireland.
The Liverpool born country music singer is set to compete in tomorrow night’s semi-final, along with Anna Geary, Erin McGregor and Deirdre O’Kane, and he says the support has been ‘mental’.
“It’s crazy, I can’t believe that I’m there,” Jake told Ryan on the Late Late Show last night.
“It’s kind of mental because, I guess all the other contestants that were on it are all originally from Ireland. I’m originally from Liverpool, I moved over to Ireland a year ago now.
“It’s kind of just unbelievable, the support that I’ve got and people have just got behind me so it’s great to see. Hopefully now we can bring it on Sunday night.”
The 19-year-old, who performed his new song Havin A Party on the show last night, recently revealed that he would love to work with Irish pop sensation Niall Horan.
“He’s my favourite artist at the minute, so I’m really looking forward to that dance,” he told VIP Magazine.
“I’d love to do something with Niall Horan. To me, he’s the pinnacle of pop music at the minute.”
