Dancing With The Stars champion Jake Carter has made his grand return to the dancefloor.
The Liverpool lad won the competition in 2018 with pro-dancer Karen Byrne.
And the singer has returned for this season’s quarterfinal as a team captain. Mentoring the ‘HandClap Hustlers’ made up of Brooke Scullion and her partner Robert Rowiński, Damian McGinty and his partner Kylee Vincent and Panti Bliss and her partner Denys Samson.
Returning to the rehearsal hall, Jake joked about his secret to success, saying: “What’s the secret to winning? Hard work and brown envelopes.”
The 24-year-old was thrilled with his team, joking: “This isn’t fair though. We’ve got all the good dancers.”
Coaching his team, Jake said: “We’re in it to win it everyone, I’m only back for one week so come on.”
For the performance Jake reunited with pro-dancer Karen, who he has been in a relationship with since their season two win.
Revealing who he would be dancing with, Jake explained: “There’s only one person I can really dance with.”
The popstar really impressed with his coaching skills. With his teammate Damian McGinty gushing: “Jake is energetic, enthusiastic, all ideas really good leader.”
