It looks like Jack Keating is following his dad’s footsteps as he reveals he’s pursuing a career in radio.
Yes, just as his dad, Ronan hosted a show on Magic FM, Jack has now shared that he’s working with SPIN 1038.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Jack admitted: “I’m working with Spin 1038 at the moment, DJing and presenting.
“I’ve been training for the last month and I’ll be on air very soon. I’m doing a couple of days a week there.
“I want to keep going with radio and presenting and I think I might be doing a bit more with Ireland AM. I will keep chugging along,” he added.
Of course, it was only right that Jack would go to his dad for advice on any tips and tricks when it comes to radio.
“I’ve been picking his brain every chance I can. He’s finished up with Magic FM in London and now I’m starting in radio.”
Talk about full circle moment in the Keating household!
Speaking to his listeners at the time, he said: “Getting back to being with my family – you know doing school runs and those things that I’ve missed out on, waking up with my wife in the morning, you know?
“I know it sounds ridiculous but it’s really important and I’ve missed that.”
Fair enough!
