Jack Keating is opening up about his time in the Love Island villa, finally addressing the hilarious moment between him and Ekin-Su while he was saying goodbye.
When the Islanders were saying their goodbyes to the Casa Amor crew, Ekin-Su said farewell to Jack, while referencing a Ronan Keating song. Telling the social media manager; “Life is a rollercoaster.”
Fans absolutely loved her goodbye, taking to Twitter to share their delight. With one person writing; “omg ekin su boyzone stan era” while another fan said; “Ekin Su did not just say ‘Life is a Rollercoaster’ to Jack! I’m CACKLING”
But it turns out their final goodbye wasn’t the first time Ekin Su had referenced the song, with it actually being a running gag between the two in the villa.
Explaining during his appearance on The Six O’Clock Show; “It was a running joke. I think on unseen bits the following day, they finally showed our first chat together and she obviously copped who I was.”
“The whole time she would tell me over the couple of days I was in there, ‘Life’s a rollercoaster’ and I’d be like, ‘You’ve just got to ride it all night long Ekin.'”
The pair actually got along great in the villa, with Jack explaining; “So we had some good banter and Ekin’s a great girl,”
With their friendship being so great that he is actually hoping for Ekin Su and her partner Davide to win the show.
Telling Martin King and Fionnuala Jones; “I’m actually rooting for her to win the show, her and Davide are my favourites to win right now.”
“Before I did the show I would’ve said Gemma and Luca but now after experiencing it all like that, I want Davide and Ekin-Su to pull it together.”
