Ivan Yates has revealed his hopes to return to TV3 in the near future.
The seasoned broadcaster left his presenting gigs on Sunday AM and Newstalk last April to travel across America with his wife Deirdre.
Although he returned to Newstalk earlier this month, the former Fine Gael TD is hoping to return to his regular spot on TV3 very soon.
“Yes, hopefully I will be back. I don’t know, I have no plans at the moment but we will wait and see,” he told the Independent.ie.
Although he’s eagerly awaiting his return to the small screen, he is thrilled to be back on the airwaves.
“Newstalk is flying. I’m glad to be back there and I’m working hard. This is the third week now so it’s all good. I have no complaints. It feels good to be back, I’m enjoying being in front of the microphone again.”
Here’s hoping he returns to TV3 sooner rather than later!
