Rachel Wyse has revealed she’s stepping away from her Sky Sports role after six years.
The Dubliner was a long-time presenter of GAA coverage for the station, but has decided she won’t be returning this year.
Announcing the news, Rachel said, “After six of the very best years working on the most rewarding job in my career with the GAA, it’s time to step back.
“I’ve learnt so much and made friends for life. Thank you for the memories, I’m forever grateful to everyone who helped me along the way, you know who you are.”
Last year Rachel and her husband Tim welcomed their first child to the world.
Little Isabella was born in July 2020, and at the time Rachel said, she is “the best gift 2020 could have given us.”
Rachel and Tim, who first met 16 years ago, wed during a romantic ceremony in January 2019.
The pair tied the knot in front of close friends and family at Limerick’s Adare Manor, during a romantic ceremony.
Rachel wore a beautiful white lace dress, while Tim opted for grey trousers with a navy morning suit jacket.
Speaking of their big day, the beautiful bride previously said, “A weekend of love and laughter surrounded by an incredible group of people.”
A whole host of famous faces helped them celebrate the occasion, including 2fm’s Eoghan McDermott.
Taking to social media at the time, he gushed, “I’ve never been to Adare Manor before but it was the absolute stuff of dreams! What a beautiful place, beautiful bride, beautiful people.
“To the Wyse & Gredley families, thanks for having us on your special day!”
