Niall Horan has opened up about the Manchester benefit concert, revealing he didn’t think twice about getting involved.
Following the horrific attack at Ariana Grande’s gig on May 22nd, which left 22 people dead and over 60 injured, the US singer arranged a charity concert, with all proceeds going to the victims and families affected.
Ariana will be taking to the stage this Sunday, June 4th, with a whole host of celebrity pals and musicians, including Katy Perry, Coldplay and our very own Niall Horan.
Speaking about the gig, Niall told SiriusXM Hits 1, “I’m good friends with Ariana and she called me up and asked me if I would I be involved and obviously it was a no brainer.
“It was a terrible thing to happen. But Ariana can pull some of her friends together and get on stage and raise some needed money for the victims of a terrible attack.
“I guess that’s the least we can do as artists, get up there and sing a few songs and try to put some smiles on some faces.”
The concert will be broadcast live on BBC One, on Sunday night from 6.55pm until 10pm.
