Niall Horan has opened up about the differences between his solo career and his One Direction experience.
The Too Much To Ask singer was one fifth of the hugely popular boy band, before he embarked on a solo singing career while they were on hiatus.
The 24-year-old Mullingar man has now revealed that he has “really enjoyed” the new challenge.
“The day to day interviews and photo shoots, that’s when I notice it the most,” Niall told The Herald Sun.
“You’re in a photo shoot and you don’t have someone to bounce off any more. Or you can get another lad to answer a question in an interview. Everything’s on you now.
“The day-to-day banter right now would be crazy if this was a One Direction interview. But for the most part I’ve really enjoyed it.
“I love making music, writing music and I feel my most comfortable standing on stage with a guitar in me hand. That’s in my blood. I’m not going to be scared of that.”
