Vogue Williams has revealed she’s being fat-shamed at almost eight months pregnant.
The Dubliner, who expecting her first child with hubby Spencer Matthews in September, admits people regularly comment on her body and share nasty comments online.
Sharing a snap of some of the messages, she said, “This is today, fat shaming again. It doesn’t even matter that I’m almost eight months pregnant. It just shouldn’t happen.”
One of the messages read: “She has got fat legs, fact. You also leave yourself wide open for criticism when you pose for the camera and then sell those photos to the media for income. You are fair game.”
Another said, “She has legs stumpier and chunky that a rugby player [sic]”
Vogue is trying not to pay any attention to those hurtful comments, saying, “I’m delighted with myself. I feel happy in my own body and life couldn’t be better.”
It’s not the first time Vogue has had to speak out on the matter, as just last month she had to hit out at trolls who commented on her weight.
“I actually just have to laugh at the people fat shaming me. I’m seven months PREGNANT, the online world is a nasty little place,” she said.
Vogue went on to say that she will embrace her growing figure: “Myself and my larger body are very happy and look forward to getting even bigger.”
