Westlife star Nicky Byrne has shared a series of ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos as he changes up his look after shaving off his ‘lockdown beard’.
The 41-year-old took to his Instagram account to show his fans and followers how he has looked these past few weeks, admitting that it was time for a change.
The singer, who is usually clean-shaven, captioned the post:
“It had to go!”
But, before the facial hair got the chop, Nicky had some fun playing around with his new look. Comparing himself to Tom Hanks in the blockbuster ‘Castaway’, Nicky created his very own ‘Wilson’ with a football and take some snaps inspired by the desert island character.
However, it wasn’t long before we saw the Westlife star back to his clean-shaven self, as he also posted some snaps of the ‘after’ product, where he looked more like his usual self.
Nicky, Georgina, and their three children have been adjusting to lockdown life as well as they can, with Nicky continually praising his wife for her efforts in homeschooling the kids.
‘Georgina has been brilliant with homeschooling the boys, because I would have expelled them on the first day,’ Nicky joked with Sean O Rourke on Today.
‘Making coffee at home has been brilliant. I have become a coffee connoisseur and I’m planting flowers with Gia. But we are trying to kill the time.’
