A major Irish star has hinted that he might be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house when it opens it’s doors this Thursday.
While presenting This Morning earlier today, Eamonn Holmes indicated that he may be joining the host of famous faces who are due to take part in the show.
The tv presenter has always been a huge fan of the show and he set tongues wagging this morning after implying he won’t be around next week.
Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford were interviewing the Big Brother voiceover legend Marcus Bentley on their morning show and this prompted Eamonn to make a cryptic comment about taking part in the show.
The 56-year-old said, “Which reminds me Celebrity Big Brother is this week. I’ll not be seeing you next week, I can’t say more than that.”
Although his comments got people talking, if his previous sentiments on the topic are anything to go by he definitely won’t be entering the house – not if Ruth has anything to do with it!
He previously said on the show, “I have been asked to do Celebrity Big Brother and I say to Ruth, ‘I don’t think we can ignore this now.’
“She is like, ‘That is not happening. I am not having people see what you’re really like. You and your underwear.’
“It boils down to my underwear why I am not allowed to go on.”
We think Eamonn would make a great contestant!
