Just as the latest series of Dancing with the Stars comes to an end, there are rumours that one of the show’s most popular professional dancers may be leaving the show.
Pasquale La Rocca is rumoured to be leaving DWTS to join BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. He is much-loved on the program after he won this year with Nina Carberry, and won the previous season in 2020 partnered with Lottie Ryan.
Perhaps, after winning the glitterball trophy twice in a row it’s time for him to move to greener pastures as the UK Mirror has reported this week he is being lined up to join Strictly.
An insider speaking with The Mirror said; “Strictly bosses have drawn up a wish-list and would love Pasquale as long as they could prise him away from the Irish show.”
“He is super-talented and an exciting prospect,” the insider added.
This comes after pro-dancer on Strictly, Alijaz Skorjnec, announced recently that he would be leaving the hit show. So perhaps it’s Pasquale who will be replacing him? Watch this space!
Irish jockey, Nina Carberry and Pasquale La Rocca were crowned the Dancing with the Stars champions for 2022. After 12 weeks of live shows we were delighted to see the pair take home the glitterball trophy after their incredible performances week on week.
Speaking at the final about working with Nina this year he said she was “a dream woman.”
Nina could also barely contain her delight at winning as she said; “This is an incredible show and I’m delighted to be part of it all!”
