This week Irish stars stepped out in style as the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival was underway in the capital. Last night saw many walk the red carpet at the Lighthouse Cinema for the screening of a new documentary, ‘Vicky’.
Irish celebrities like Ray Darcy, Niall Breslin and Stephen Wall were in attendance for the documentary which covers one of the worst women’s health scandals in Irish history, the cervical cancer debacle.
‘Vicky’ which was made for the big screen by Sasha King highlights campaigner, Vicky Phelan’s fight to expose the truth of what happened during the Cervical Check Scandal for all women but also her own personal fight to stay alive.
