Irish stars stepped out in style last night for the 2022 Brit Awards held in the 02 arena in London. It’s the first time the awards has been held in real life since 2020 and we love to see the return of the red carpet!
Of course there was a wealth of talent there on the night, as well as some of our own including Laura Whitmore, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and his fiancé Courteney Cox! Love Island star Maura Higgins was there, and Irish MUA Keilidh Cashell was also invited and shared lots of behind the scenes content from the night on social media.
Longford lass Maura shared snaps of herself getting ready to head to the awards, as well as the McDonalds she picked up in the wee hours of the morning as she made it home!

Laura Whitmore looked as stunning as ever on the red carpet, opting for a black velvet mini complete with keyhole cut-outs and sparkly rhinestones. We loved her beauty styling especially as she went for wet look wavy hair, and sparkly multi-coloured sequins on the eyes!

Snow Patrol’s, Johnny McDaid was in attendance on the night alongside his fiancé, Friends star Courteney Cox. The pair also presented an award at the show for International Song of the Year which went to Olivia Rodrigo for her hit ‘Good 4 U.’
For Irish MUA, Keilidh Cashell, it was her first time at the Brits and we loved seeing the lead-up and the night over on her Instagram. The Monaghan native was invited to the event by YouTube and shared her excitement after walking the red carpet captioning her post; “Mom I’m on tv!”
“So excited to be here with @youtube , keep an eye on my shorts later tonight for more behind the scenes!”
