A host of Irish stars have taken to Twitter today to pay tribute to the victims of the Nice attack last night.
The attack took place last night during a Bastille Day fireworks display in Nice, when an armed man drove full speed through a crowd, killing 84 people.
The tragic events have understandably caused outrage across the globe and a number of Irish stars have take to Twitter to share their thoughts on the devastating attack.
Vogue Williams tweeted, “Shocking news about Nice, more families torn apart by pointless violence.”
Maia Dunphy said, “Have only just heard about the vicious attack in Nice. Devastating. We can’t keep waking up to news like this.”
Amanda Brunker posted a picture of herself with the Eiffel Tower in the background captioning it, “The world keeps moving on… and I will try not resent people doing so… though I must admit I will find it hard….”
Marian Keyes also took to Twitter saying, “Oh my god, the horror. Poor France, poor Nice, poor all of us.”
Neven Maguire commented, “So sad what is happening in France crazy stuff over there bless them all,” while Rosanna Davison said, “#Nice Too horrific for words.”
