It’s days like today when we couldn’t be prouder of our little Emerald Isle!

The National Society of Film Critics’ annual awards recently took place in the US and a number of Irish stars were recognised for their extraordinary talent.

Actors Kerry Condon, Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, and Paul Mescal were all honoured on the night as well as writer-director Martin McDonagh.

The society, which is made up of 62 of the country’s most prominent movie critics is one of the most prestigious nights of the year in the film industry.

The excitement doesn’t stop there for the Irish as Condon, Farrell, Keoghan, and McDonagh are all among the nominees at tonight’s Golden Globe Awards in California.

The awards will be shown on RTÉ2 on Wednesday night.

So, the question is: Will they win big?
