Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit!
That’s rights it’s Saint Patrick’s day once again, and everyone is getting ready to paint the town green!
Of course, there are plenty of to celebrate our most famous holiday, but here’s how Ireland’s stars decided to toast Saint Paddy this year.
Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian
It’s a particularly important St. Patrick’s Day in the Dowling-Gourounlian household as it’s baby Blake first time celebrating. As such their little family went all out, and matched in green…well depending on who you ask. According to Brian, who was in charge of selecting Blake’s outfit, its green. But Arthur is pretty sure, she is wearing blue.
Forget the dress and if it was blue/black or white/gold, do you see blue or green for Blake St. Patrick’s Day best? Either way it’s a 100% adorable (…and also 100% blue!)
Laura Whitmore
Laura Whitmore headed to New York with her family for St. Patrick’s Day. Rocking a black leather coat with green trim for the festivities. While there she and daughter Stevie Ré enjoy some themed cupcakes, complete with bright green icing and shamrock decorations.
Sharing snaps from her trip, the TV presenter wrote: “Irish girls in New York”
She and husband Iain Sterling also did some sightseeing head to some of the iconic spots where the show Friend was filmed.
Pippa O’Connor
Pippa also jetted off from the holiday, heading to Italy earlier in the week. But she made it back to Ireland to spend the official day here.
Sharing a sneak peak at her family’s festivities, the mum of three shared a video of youngest son Billy, rocking a green jump, and doing a jig in the kitchen.

It was a family affair for Rosanna as she deck her tots, Sophia and twins Hugo and Oscar, out in green outfits for today. Sharing a snap of the little ones peering out the window she wrote: “May the dreams you hold dearest, be those which come true, and the kindness you spread, keep returning to you.”
Damian McGinty

Damian has set up base in Nashville, and spends most of his time in the USA, where they don’t get off work for Paddy’s Day. But this year he is back in Ireland! Unfortunately though he still didn’t get to rest for the day, as the Dance With The Stars finals are this Sunday, so he and pro-dancer Kylee Vincent are busy practicing.
But Damian did make time to wish his followers a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, reprising his role of Rory Flanagan from Glee. Writing: “Happy St Paddy’s day from Rory Flanagan who won’t be celebrating this year due to unforeseen circumstances (The fella who played him is in the final of Dancing with the Stars) Have a good one!”
Katja Mia
Also working this Saint Patrick’s Day was Katja Mia, who was doing on the ground reporting for Ireland AM, from the streets of Dublin.
She certainly got in the festive spirit donning a massive green hat for the occasion.
Sharing some BTS action, with followers, she wrote: “The calm before the storm” as they set up for filming.
Brooke Scullion
Brooke is also busy rehearsing for Sunday’s DWTS final. But she and and pro-dancer Robert Rowiński step out to enjoy a drink for the day that’s in it. Joking it was just “for hydration.”
Wishing their followers a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day.
Elaine Crowley
Elaine also still had to head to work for Saint Patrick’s Day, but the TV presenter stilled enjoyed a festive day as the Ireland AM studio was decked out with decorations and green balloon.
Lisa McHugh
Country singer Lisa McHugh celebrated in style, with her and little Milo both rocking some green in the outfits.
Sharing snaps of their looks, Lisa wrote: “Twinning with my little best friend for the day that’s in it. Happy St Patrick’s Day”
Missy Keating
Even though she’s a million miles away, Missy managed to still raise a glass to Saint Paddy in Australia.
