The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer special is about to return to our screens and one of our favourite Irish stars has been confirmed for the line-up.
Yes, actor Emmett J Scanlan, who we know and love from Kin and the upcoming Netflix series How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, will be heading into the famous Bake Off tent, and we can’t wait to see what he whips up.
Returning to Channel 4 this spring, the special will be welcoming a fresh batch of famous faces into the tent, plus a brand-new guest judge ready to dish out the verdicts.
Joining Emmett in the Bake Off tent will be pop star and dancer JoJo Siwa, media personality Molly-Mae Hague, TV star Vicky Pattison, BBC Radio 2 Breakfast host Scott Mills, and singer Rag’n’Bone Man.
But that’s not all, the star-studded line-up also includes singer Aston Merrygold, broadcaster Edith Bowman, actors Ralf Little, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Ambika Mod, comedians Richard Herring, Joe Wilkinson, Babatunde Aleshe, Rose Matafeo, Judi Love, Tom Davis, Jon Richardson, Roisin Conaty and Alex Brooker as well as TV and radio host Mark Wright, singer Mutya Buena, and YouTuber Nella Rose.
Each episode, this year’s celebrity bakers will roll up their sleeves to tackle the Signature, Technical and Showstopper challenges, aiming to impress the judges, avoid a soggy bottom, and ultimately be crowned Star Baker.
Joining Paul Hollywood at the judging table is Bake Off: The Professionals judge, Cherish Finden.
While Bake Off hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding also return, on hand to offer encouragement, laughter and a comforting shoulder as the celebrity bakers go head-to-head in the Bake Off tent.

Speaking about joining the team, Cherish Finden said: “I am delighted to be joining Paul in judging Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C.
“Stepping from the professional kitchen into the famous Bake Off tent felt like my first day of school – my heart was racing and I had butterflies in my tummy!
“Whilst I definitely haven’t left my ruler at home, judging these wonderful celebrities is about more than just precision, it’s about spreading joy and supporting a meaningful cause. To be part of SU2C and see the contestants push themselves out of their comfort zone for such a good cause was simply brilliant.”
