Irish model Hannah Devane Vukanić has welcomed a little girl into the world.
The tiny tot, named Maya Rose was born just over two weeks ago. The model, who found fame on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model shared the news on Instagram along with an adorable snap of her little girl.
Sharing that she had a ‘rough delivery’, the caption read:
“Maya Rose Vukanić. Our beautiful girl was born on 4/4/22 after a rough delivery we both had some recovering to do but we are home and she has stolen our hearts”
Hannah has been open about her journey with IVF in the past. Diagnosed with endometriosis in 2016, Hannah shared that for her and her husband Nemanja getting pregnant didn’t come easy for them.
Speaking recently about her pregnancy and journey with IVF to get her where she is, she said:
“I am 36 weeks pregnant. I consider it a miracle because I didn’t know if I could ever get pregnant. I went through IVF twice to get to this point but so many people with endometriosis naturally conceive”
“There are so many misconceptions out there. Women fear about their fertility” she added.
After sharing her pregnancy news with her followers back in October. Hannah shared some kind words with her followers who may be struggling with pregnancy and parenthood.
“I know when you are in the depths of IVF or loss it can feel so consuming. It’s been a long hard journey but I wanted to share hope for anyone going through fertility struggles that there can be light at the end of the tunnel. Sending love to anyone that’s struggling.”
Congratulations to Hannah and Nemanja on their bundle of joy!
