If there was ever a year to get a bit soppy and sentimental with your other half, it’s this one. Many Irish celebs got on social media yesterday to share the love on Valentine’s Day.
Some posted throwbacks snaps (which we always enjoy) and others shared their plans for the day, on what would usually be a date night if things were normal!
For Pippa O’Connor and Brian Ormond it wasn’t just Valentine’s Day they were celebrating as she shared the occasion also marked their very first date.
“Our first date was Valentine’s Day 13 years ago .. and he’s been making me laugh every day since.”
MUA, Aideen Kate shared a throwback to sunnier times, when she was on holiday with her boyfriend Dave
“Happy Valentines to all you lovers ps. Don’t forget to tell your gals you love them too.”
Chris Taylor of course, went all out for his girlfriend Maura Higgins this Valentine’s Day. The Love Island stars had an elaborate date night set up outside.
Maura posted a pic of them all glammed up captioned; “You’re not my number one, you’re my only one.”
Stylist, Clémentine MacNeice had a chilled out day with her partner, Jamie with lots of bubbles and nice food at home.
“Happy Valentine’s, Galentine’s, or just happy weekend!! Hope everyone is having a lovely one.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day to my very best friend and the love of my life @spencermatthews …. the first picture is actually our first ever snap together! I love you and our little family.”
Sarah Hanrahan (as you may know her, I Come Undone) took the occasion to share some exciting news.
The Irish blogger and her partner got engaged earlier this year and she revealed that they have now set a date for the wedding!
“I’m not really a Valentines typa gal buuut, considering it’s our last one as boyfriend and girlfriend (or fiancés, if you will) I thought I’d mark the occasion #TheDateHasBeenSet #2021Wedding #LetsDoThis“
