The spring/summer trend of denim on denim is without a doubt going strong. Although there are some haters of the trend out there, calling it the style of hillbillies, or unfortunately people still remember the Britney and Justin get up circa the 2001 VMA’s. These are of course valid judgements of the trend, but we at VIP Towers are totally loving it.
Due to the cyclical nature of fashion, our denim pieces are now being dusted off and put together again, and the end product is a great outfit.

Double denim is a trend that shouldn’t work, but somehow it does! It’s practical and easy trend to achieve as denim is a staple of any wardrobe. There are also many variations that can be done with your denim pieces whether you own jeans, skirts, jackets or shirts. The most popular pairing is definitely the classic denim shirt and jeans, but this alone has tons of variations. You can go with two toned denims, dark or light jeans, or even skinny or flaired. The list is endless! With so many different options to make this style work, there’s sure to be something that suits everyone.

Many Irish Celebs have been hot on this trend including Lottie Ryan, Pippa O’Connor, Roz Purcell and Georgia Penna. It’s not only for women though, as men can be seen rocking the double denim two, including 2FM’s own Nicky Byrne.
Keep calm and denim on!
