Imelda May has revealed that her colleague, Thomas Ayad, was sadly killed during the Paris attacks this weekend, and has shared a heartfelt tribute.

Thomas was an international product manager for Mercury Records, and was attending the Eagles of Death Metal concert in La Bataclan on Friday evening when the attacks unfolded.

In a tribute to her colleague, Imelda said, “Thomas Ayad from my team of record company in France is one of the victims in the Paris massacres, amongst two others from other branches of the company.

“I knew he was missing and feared the worst. Very sad to hear it’s true. He just went to a gig!

“My heartfelt condolences to his colleagues, friends and family. Imelda X,” she said.
