Imelda May has shared an update with her fans following a recent health scare that resulted in her being hospitalised.
The singer took to Instagram to share that she spent several days in hospital last week, explaining the ordeal in a heartfelt post.
“So I ended up in St Vincent’s University Hospital last week for a few days,” the post began.
Although she didn’t reveal the reason for her hospital stay, Imelda expressed deep gratitude to the medical staff who looked after her.
“I’m fine now and healing well but I must say a huge thanks you to all the amazing people that took the best care of me.
“Absolute legends,” she added.
“I’m fine and resting and with all your warm good vibes flying my way, I’ll be fighting fit for play rehearsals next week.”
This is the second time Imelda has found herself in hospital in recent years.
In 2022, the singer was forced to postpone a gig after her doctor ordered her to take a break after she suffered from exhaustion.
Her most recent hospital stay came just days before her 51st birthday.
But thankfully, she made it home in time to celebrate.
