“I’m so fed up…” Greg O’Shea reveals he’s missing family during lockdown

Greg O’Shea has revealed he’s growing increasingly frustrated with the on-going lockdown restrictions.

The former Love Island contestant admits he’s feeling ‘fed up’ at the minute, especially as he’s missing out on so much precious time with his loved ones.

Greg’s sister welcomed an adorable baby boy to the world last summer, but he has yet to meet the tiny tot.

Taking to Instagram, Greg said, “I always throw out positive vibes and try to make people feel happier but to be honest I am so fed up of this crap.

“I just want the world to go back to normal. It seems other countries going back to normal and we’re just stuck in these level five restrictions.”

He continued, “For instance I had a nephew born last August I still haven’t met him yet.

“My aunt and uncle got married a couple of days ago and I didn’t get to go to that, haven’t seen them.

“I haven’t seen my best mate in months but look there’s a lot of people going through a lot worse than me but that’s just an example of why I’m fed up.”

While he’s finding it tough at the minute, Greg did encourage followers to try find ways to keep their spirits up.

“If you’re going through a tough time at the moment and finding it hard, you’re not alone. Let’s just keep going and this will be over eventually,” he said.

Similarly, Ryan Tubridy has revealed he’s feeling envious as Britain announce plans to ease lockdown restrictions over the coming weeks and months.

Earlier this week the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson shared a four stage plan which should see Britain completely out of lockdown by June 21st.

As with plenty of other people around the country, Ryan Tubridy is feeling quite deflated by the news as we don’t have anything similar to go by.

Chatting to listeners on his RTE Radio One show, Ryan said, “I did have this very strange sensation watching the British news last night. I was watching Boris Johnson in the House of Commons announcing the lifting of restrictions that are incoming over there.

“And, I wish I didn’t feel envious, it’s not a nice way to feel. I especially wish I didn’t feel envious of our nearest neighbours over all this, but I did.”

He continued, “I was actually almost carelessly enjoying their good fortune in that they’re going to be opening pubs and venues in the middle of May and June and July, but dare to dream.

“Nevertheless, we plough on regardless and we endeavour to stay positive in a world gone a little dark.”
