Claudine Keane has shared her horror over a gun incident which took place close to her LA home.
The Dubliner, who had been living over there with her husband Robbie and children, revealed the situation left her fearing for her life.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I was on Rodeo Drive and I was going in to buy my mam a gift. Next thing I hear three or four people screaming and a guy saying, ‘lock the door, lock the door!’
“I ran straight for the stockroom. There were bangs and then I could hear a siren. Someone had been shot in a hotel two doors down on Rodeo Drive”.
“Obviously there was a fatality so that had been dealt with and we were brought out. I was like ‘Rob, I’m never going out again'”, she added.
While she completely prefers being in Ireland at the moment, Claudine admits she does miss the lifestyle she and her family had while living on the West Coast of America, somewhere she considers to be her second home.
“I do still think of it as a second home, somewhere I can see myself going back to or splitting my time between.”
Both Claudine and Robbie currently live in Ireland with their two children Robert and Ronan, with Robbie still working as assistant manager to Middlesbrough FC.
