Ibrahim Halawa is set to do his first TV interview following his imprisonment in Egypt.
The 21-year-old was released from jail this month after spending four years in prison.
He was arrested following a protest in the country, but was acquitted of all charges after his trial was delayed a number of times.
Now he will speak to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show this week.
The young man will appear on the show on Friday to give his account of the four-year-ordeal.
“I will be on the late late show on Friday. Stay tuned to listen to my story. Thank you to everyone who has helped so far,” Ibrahim said in a post on Facebook.
Also on the Late Late show this week is Conor McGregor, who will be chatting about his newly released film.
