Jennifer Zamparelli has opened up about feeling nervous ahead of the start of her brand new RTE 2FM radio show.
The star, who presented Breakfast Republic alongside Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh for over five years, will be heading up a brand new day time show on her own for the very first time next month.
Although the Dancing With The Stars host is used to dealing with the pressures of live broadcasting, she reveals that she’s not immune to the pre-show nerves.
“At the moment I feel a bit overwhelmed because there’s a lot to learn,” Jen told VIP Magazine in an exclusive shoot after being names Most Stylish Woman at the 2019 Peter Mark VIP Style Awards.
“It’s a music and talk show,” she continued, “The biggest thing is getting used to being by myself… I finished the show (Breakfast Republic) at the start of this month and I’m going to miss the lads terribly.
“Fortunately, they will be in my life, and there is a plan for them. But for me, it’s just going to be different.”
The mother of two recently paid an emotional tribute to the show and her former colleagues as she finished up her last day on breakfast radio.
Taking to social media, she said, “Did my last breakfast show today in 2FM.
“I will miss the crew so much, but I won’t miss the alarm going off at 5am every day.
“Thank you Breakfast Republic crew for the endless laughs, and all the listeners for your kind words, hilarious stories and endless support.”
We can’t wait to hear Jen back on the airwaves.
