Cork blogger Lisa Jordan has opened up about life as a mum, after welcoming baby Pearl last October.
Speaking exclusively to VIP magazine, the 31-year-old reveals how she has adjusted to life online since having her first child.
“I waited five months to even tell anyone I was pregnant. It was a nice little secret for me and my husband to enjoy together. After having her, I had to make the decision whether to keep her on or off my blog and for two or three months I kept her away.
Then I just thought, ‘ah, there’s no harm in it, I get to control what I show, and she’s so beautiful, I can’t keep her from the world!”
The beauty has been busy working on her ever popular blog JustJordan.ie and was nominated for Most Stylish Online Influencer at this year’s Peter Mark VIP Style Awards.
Lisa says that she doesn’t believe having baby Pearl has changed her, but has definitively given her a different outlook on life.
“You know, I don’t think it changes you, I think it makes you grow. you become more alert of every situation, you understand other parents. Before if I was on a plane and a child was crying, I’d be giving out.
Now, if Pearl roars the place down when I’m on the way to Spain, I’m going to be like ‘this is my child, tough!’ You just start to see things in a different view.”
