Hughie Maughan has given his predictions for who he thinks will win Dancing With The Stars. The Ballymun native was the first contestant to be voted off the show last Sunday night.
Although the 22-year-old was devastated to leave so early in the competition, he is rooting for his fellow contestants and friends.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on RTE Radio 1 yesterday he admitted that he was confused by his elimination, and gave the names of the two celebs that he feels could take home the glitter ball.
“There’s two side of looking at it. I was really shocked because I wasn’t bottom of the leaderboard, I was better than some of the other people and I was definitely more talked about than anybody on the programme for the three weeks.
“So at that stage you think you might not go home. But it is a tv show, it’s not always down to dancing. Some people have been on tv for years and have a big following, so a person who’s brand new and fresh might not be well known.
“I think the last five people will be Denise, Dayl Cronin, Aoibhin Garrihy, Des Cahill and Katherine Lynch. I think Denise will win, I wouldn’t be shocked if Des did,” he revealed.
