Hozier is set to be honoured by the Irish Arts Center at next month’s Spirit of Ireland Gala.
The singer will be joined by actor’s Liam Neeson and Gabriel Byrne at the gala, which is set to be held in New York City. Also being honoured on the night are dancer Jean Butler and CEO of Xerox, Ursula Burns.
Hozier took to social media to express his delighted at being honoured with such a prestigious award. On Facebook he wrote, “This is an honour. I’m thrilled to join Liam Neeson and Gabriel Byrne and receive a Spirit of Ireland Award at the Irish Arts Center fall Gala in New York.”
