How some of our favourite Irish starts spent NYE at home

2020 was a year like no other, which also meant that NYE was a strange one. Where we would usually find ourselves out with our friends or a a house party, we instead rang in the new year firmly on the couch.

Many of our favourite Irish stars didn’t let the occasion go by without dressing up, even if they were ringing in 2021 from home. There were others (more like ourselves) who embraced the staying at home and got comfy in pjs!

Louise Cooney went all out glam for the new year in this stunning shimmery wrap dress.

“Serving NYE glam at home this year. Not gonna lie I got into my slippers right after this pic, the perks of being at home.”

Pippa O’Connor was a woman after our own hearts as she rang in 2021 in her Christmas pjs.

“Cheers to a frickin Happy New Year sending all the love and positivity to everyone .. Thanks so much for all the support & kindness throughout 2020, I appreciated it more than you even know.”

Lisa Jordan realised that getting dressed up was exactly what she needed after all the loungewear became too much!

“After discovering that wearing Pj’s exclusively for a week isn’t a thing, I decided I would make an effort for NYE.”

“I hope 2021 brings you Health & Happiness … that’s all we truly need!!!”

Rosie Connolly wore possibly the most perfect outfit for NYE on the couch. A tracksuit with a sequinned stripe down the side. Comfy and still sparkly enough for ringing in the new year

She shared; “NYE glam at home. Happy New Year everyone and thank you for the continued support.”

Grace Mongey looked chic in an all black look for NYE which she topped off with a pop of bright red lipstick.
“Just call me Sandy, baby! Dressing up for New Years Eve to start as I mean to go on!!!”
“Have a good one at home with the ones you love.”
