How does a world- famous supermodel and photographer decorate her home? What are her must have pieces and how does she style them together? With homes in Manhattan, Upstate New York and on the Danish coast, BoConcept’s new Global Artistic Director is no stranger to interior design. So what’s her approach?
For Helena, interior design is deeply rooted in an emotional connection to her home, a mode of self expression and source of wellbeing.
“A well-designed home can make you feel calm in a chaotic world or energised in a space where you need to focus”, says Helena. “I’ve been a nomad my whole adult life, so I’ve learned that home is where you create your own sense of beauty and comfort.”
It’s an extremely personal thing too. “It’s a very personal journey you have with your home throughout life, says Helena. “The spaces we inhabit – whether it’s our homes, workplaces, or public spaces – affect how we feel, how we interact with others, and how productive or relaxed we are.”

“I think one way for me to truly understand the magic and complexity of nature is to capture flowers and plants with my camera.”
“This is the ultimate sofa – I just love to curl up in it.”
“This curved table is perfect for getting everyone around the table on lazy Sundays with friends.”
“The cubic shape of the sofa is just so chic. And it almost feels like a blank canvas for you to add your own stamp on it.”
