Holly Carpenter has hit back at “nasty” online trolls just days after news broke of her recent break-up with Danny O’Reilly.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that the top model and The Coronas singer had split after dating for almost a year.
A source close to the pair told Goss.ie that the couple parted ways amicably, and there was no apparent drama involved.
“They had a really good relationship and got on so well, but Holly felt it just wasn’t right anymore.” they said.
Last night, the 25-year-old took to Twitter to slam online trolls for writing unwarranted harsh comments about her.
“If you feel like you need to write nasty things online about someone you’ve never met – you need to take a look at yourself.” she wrote.
Fellow model and pal Vogue Williams, who has also spoken out about her experience with online trolls, showed her support for Holly by writing “Go on the hollibops!” under her post.
