Dublin model Holly Carpenter got the chop from Celebrity Masterchef last night, after failing to impress judges Robin Gill and Daniel Clifford.
The show debuted on TV3 last night, and saw Holly compete against the likes of Colm O’Gorman, Oisin McConville, Niamh Kavanagh and Evelyn Cusack.
The Raheny native presented the judges with a Malteser cheesecake for her first dish of the competition, followed by a meal of baked cod with a herb crust.
The judges were unimpressed by her sauce, which resulted in Holly being the first to leave.
The Dubliner’s departure had a huge effect on her fellow co-stars last night, who all revealed they’ll greatly miss her presence in the kitchen.
Colm O’Gorman previously told TVNow Magazine, “I’m very unlikely to have ever met Holly. Our two worlds were pretty unlikely to collide, but she’s such a lovely girl and a joy.
“She’s so funny and warm. She’s a gorgeous person.”
The show continues next Monday at 10pm.
