Following her recent heartbreak, it appears things could be on the up for Amber Gill, after a successful date with Greg O’Shea.
Earlier this month the 21-year-old’s world was turned upside-down when her partner Michael chose to recouple with Joanne, while she was away at Casa Amor.
While she hasn’t had a romantic connection with anyone else in the villa since then, her luck may be about to change.
Limerick lad Greg entered the villa earlier this week and chose Amber as his first date.
Speaking of his decision to go out with Amber, Greg says “I just thought you deserved a date after all the drama that’s been happening. You deserve to be spoilt a bit.”
Deciding to open up to the rugby star, she responds: “It’s been hard. But I’ve come out the other end and I feel happier.”
Amber’s keen to know what Greg is looking for in a girl. Greg tells her, “I’m looking for confidence. You’re obviously very confident.”
She later says, “I’ve never dated a rugby player before.”
Greg replies, “There is a first time for everything.”
Back in the villa, Amber can’t hide her smile, telling the girls she’s definitely interested in him.
“His accent is fabulous. And he can take the banter,” she says.
“I’m telling you now, I haven’t liked one boy that has come in. That boy has got the luck of the Irish!”
Could this be the start of something new?
