Here’s who won immunity on the next episode of Dancing with the Stars

Dedicated Dance Week has officially come to an end, and what an emotional night it was.

All nine celebrities delivered performances packed with heart, with many taking to the floor for some of the most meaningful routines of the series so far. 

The special episode also paid tribute to former judge Julian Benson, who sadly passed away in April last year.

Viewers heard from familiar faces, including former presenter Nicky Byrne and former head judge Lorraine Barry, alongside current host Jennifer Zamparelli and judges Brian Redmond, Karen Byrne and Arthur Gourounlian, as they shared touching memories of their much-loved friend and colleague.

“Even if there was a mistake, he would find positivity in everything,” shared Lorraine, while Nicky noted, “he was the guy you wanted in your corner.”

Thankfully, there was no elimination on the night, but there was still plenty at stake, with immunity from next week’s eviction up for grabs.

Jordan Dargan and Rebecca Scott were at the top of the leaderboard with 39 points, closely followed by Katelyn Cummins and Leonardo Lini with 35.

But after an emotional show in which contestants dedicated their dances to people who have had a profound impact on their lives, Katelyn Cummins and Leonardo Lini emerged with the highest combined score from the judges and the public vote. 

As a result, they secured immunity from the first Dance-Off of the series next week, during Fright Night.

Speaking after the result, Katelyn declared: “I’m absolutely delighted!”
