Following Anton Savage’s shock axe from Today FM last month, his replacement has finally been revealed.
The esteemed broadcaster parted ways with the station in early December following disagreements with management. Now, the morning slot has been given to Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore.
The duo have been working together on air for a number of years, and are absolutely thrilled about their new venture.
Dave labeled the news as “exciting” while Dermot said, “This should be a bit of craic!”
The CEO of Today FM, Keith McCormack is delighted with the choice, and said, “Dermot & Dave have a unique on air chemistry that listeners enjoy and interact with on a daily basis.
“They consistently keep the listener at the forefront of what they do and have an ear for a great story and what makes the people of Ireland tick.
“We’re delighted to launch this brand new show in the coming weeks as it marks what’s set to be an exciting year for Today FM”.
