Kathryn Thomas has shared details about her wedding day, including where she bought her wedding shoes for just €38.
The television presenter recently tied the knot with hubby Padraig McLoughlin in Kilkea Castle, Co.Kildare, surrounded by 200 of their friends and family.
Kathryn wore two designer dresses on the day; a stunning backless number for the ceremony before changing into a delicate floral number by Helen Cody for the reception.
Opening up about her big day on Instagram, Kathryn revealed that she wanted a pair of shoes which would suit both dresses, telling that she didn’t want anything too fancy.
“I wanted a pair of shoes that would work with both dresses. The first dress was so long that you weren’t going to see them. Then, Helen’s dress was so beautiful and detailed that I wanted really plain shoes.”
Having checked out a number of designer shoes, Kathryn decided to turn to high-street brand Asos instead.
“I was looking at all Jimmy Choos and designer wedding shoes and they were about 7 or 800 quid and I thought that is ridiculous.
She continued “So I went onto Asos and got a pair of silver block heel sandals for 30 euro.”
