Here’s when the tv adaptation of Sally Rooney’s Normal People will air

Bookworms rejoice! The television adaptation of Sally Rooney’s Normal People is set for release this month.

BBC have announced that the much-anticipated series, based on the Irish novel of the same name, will be released on BBC’S iPlayer on April 26th – and all episodes will be available to stream instantly.

British actress Daisy Edgar-Jones will play beloved protagonist Marianne, while Irish actor Paul Mescal makes his television debut as her love interest Connell.

Normal People tells the story of two secondary school classmates who are accepted into Trinity College Dublin, where they fall in love.

The show was filmed across three countries, travelling to Dublin, Sligo, Italy and Sweden.
