Earlier this month it was revealed Muireann O’Connell and Greg O’Shea would be uniting for a brand new show – and now, we finally have an air date!
The dynamic duo will be teaming up to present The Late Tackle, a new sporting and entertainment show on Virgin Media, with a focus on rugby.
The series will hit our screens each Thursday evening, with the first episode kicking off on Jan 30th.
The pair started filming last week – and just beforehand, Muireann told us how excited she was to work with Greg.
“He seems like a very hard worker,” she told VIP Magazine.
“I’m really looking forward to it. In my head, it’s just two Limerick people chatting away together.
“We grew up in the same place. He’s younger than I am, but it’s nice to have that shared sense of community.”
As well as working on this show, Greg will continue with his rugby career while Muireann will host The Six O’Clock Show with Martin King.
She told us, “That show has changed life and I love going into work every single day.
“You get to know so many people and every time someone comes back into the studio, I learn something new about them. It’s bonkers and I love it.”
