Jennifer Zamparelli has revealed she’ll be back on our airwaves in a matter of weeks as her maternity leave is coming to an end.
The Dubliner, who is already mum to three-year-old Florence, gave birth to her first son, Enzo, in January.
The Breakfast Republic presenter is excited for her radio return, and despite some nerves, can’t get back into the swing of things.
“I can officially announce now that I’m coming back on the 3rd of September,” she told VIP Magazine.
“I cannot wait! I went into RTE and had a little swipe of my card to see if it still worked – and it does, so I’m going in whether they like it or not.
“I can’t wait to go back in. I miss going in, I miss the show, I miss the people.
“It’s been nine months since I’ve been on air so I’ll be a bit nervous going back in.
“I am dying to get back to work though. It’s a tough aul job being a full-time mom. I’ll be going back to work for a break,” she said with a laugh.
Jennifer is the new ambassador for Mulipa. For more than 30 years, Mulipa, which is tailored specifically for little tummies, has been helping generations of Irish parents with their weaning journey.
